All the various releases of Hyades will be made available here. The hyades-0.0.2 tarball is the latest release of Hyades from 27 January 2004, pre-alpha2.
- hyades-0.0.2.tar.gz - Source tarball of release pre-alpha2. Creates a kira-compatible universe with a user-defined number of star systems. Simulates dynamical evolution and population growth and parses order files. Known to compile using gcc 3.2 on Gentoo Linux.

access to the hyades repository, both anonymous and authenticated. For

Jan 07 2005 - Starlab licensed under the GPL
Thanks to the authors of Starlab for releasing Starlab 4.3 under the GPL! This new license for Starlab means Hyades can distribute a stand-alone binary that works without a Starlab installation plus a full source package with Starlab bundled inside. Look for a new release very soon.
Jan 27 2004 - New release
The hyades design has been reworked. This took a while, but the result is a distribution that will simulate the universe, parse order files, and grow populations. Hopefully progress will be faster now.
